Bridgwater Classic Vehicle Show 2009
This was the second weekend-long show our branch attended this year, taking up both the Saturday and Sunday.
Steve & I met up and drove up to the show, on the way we had a little play with the traffic which was good fun.
We got to the show ground and set up the tents... this was also a good bit fun. After the tents were up we made our way around the show ground and looked at the great display of cars, there was such a large variety to see.
We spent the afternoon playing games and feeding the horses sweets, in the evening we made our way to the bar and had some food a few ciders. The organisers had got a disco set up too which  was o.k but being the mature adults we are we decided to make our own fun by drawing on the ballons.
It had been a long day so at 21.30pm we went to bed and I think it is a safe bet that all of us went straight to sleep.

Sunday started with a fry up and a cup of tea in the club house, preparing us for the rest of the day. We put the tents away and moved the cars into place. This seemed to be a very busy day, there were loads more cars to look at and admire. The standard of cars was exceptional, especially on the Sunday.
We did have a slightly surreal moment when we came face to face with Michael Jackson who seemed more than happy to let us capitalise on the photo opportunity.
Back with our cars, Steve and I had loads of people wanting to talk to us, all were interested in our cars. We were getting loads of attention.
Before we knew it the day was over and it was time to head home, we left the show ground at 4.30 tired but happy. It was a very good show and well worth a look.

It does look like this one will be back on our calander for next year.
