Classic Car Display 2009
This is officially the last show of the season for our branch and it really was the perfect end, being located inside Crealy Park near Wadebridge we always knew it was going to be a good laugh.
We were lucky, the weather was glorious so after putting the stand together we concentrated on having fun.
We took a walk around the other cars on display, although there weren't as many as usual (thanks to a clashing show) there was still enough to get us excited. We did fall in love with the American models on display.
Early on in the day we all met up at the sphereing pool and decided to go for it. Bri and Steve went first, it looked like so much fun rolling around and walking on water (although it was very hard to stay upright).
Soon it was my turn and after having my sphere blown up I too gave it a go and ended up laughing uncontrollably as I failed to run inside. Despite spending more of my time falling over it really was a hoot and I'd do it again & again.
It is at this point I want to thank Abi for taking charge of the camcorder while I was larking about.
There was a lot to see, Shire horses, pigs, goats. There were even some piglets curled up asleep.
Bri, Steve and Shelbie found some sand to play with and even wore the very fetching hard hats!
I'm not sure how to explain the photos of them riding the horses on the Pony Express... I think only the pictures can show just how much the inner child was let loose.
The zip line seemed to call to all of us and we spent quite a while larking about with it. Some of us got a little too brave, Elvin did have us all panicking when he tried to do it with no hands and nearly fell off.
The park has so many slides and ball pools it really is a big kids heaven and no surprises who got the most out of them... again I think the photos say it all.
Abi made an exciting discovery during the day, she sat on a round about while holding Jades lead. Jade started walking round and round pulling Abi round as she went. It was a very surreal thing to watch and has us giggling.
There really was so much more we got up to but it would take multiple pages so instead I'll let the pictures do the talking... enjoy!
