This show is always a great day out and this year looked like being no exception so after Laura
got to mine friday night we were up early sat to get started on the cars!
First thing after washing them was to get mine up in the air wheels off to clean the arch liners
but having done so it was rather worrying to see that the inner edges of the tyres were down
to nothing and starting to blister so plan b came into operation (because Laura wouldnt let the old wheels go back on the car) so that is why you saw my new wheels at this show. Unfortuntely it did mean a frantic couple of hours with the polish and sealant to protect them. Having got this done it was a long day of polishing and waxing finally finishing the cars by about 10 in the evening.

We got up early sunday & got the cars loaded up before getting on our way to meet Tom & Brian in Wellingborough to get our tickets.

We arrived at Santa Pod in our miny convoy but was greated with a bit of a queue, because of the rain the organisers had to make some last minute changes & the show show was moved onto the tarmac, just as well as all the grassy areas had termed into a mud bath. After we parked up we put the flag out &  put the finishing touches to our cars before setting of for a look round the rest of the show.

The rain set in for a short while but afterwards we went to watch the strip action including the jet car before going for a bit of retail therapy.
Later on back at the stand it was a chance for some chill time & catching up with friends & making new ones. Some of us where talking for ages (even to  the point of the grounds staff letting us know when they wanted to go home) it was time to head off home, but not before the last Sierras there were asked to be posed for a photoshoot... hopefully they'll make it into print.
All in all it was a great day out & one which will be repeated next year im sure.
