Another sunday and another cloudy sky.
Three Xrs left Exeter services and headed for Exmouth, unfortunately when we got there we found that the show didn't start for another hour and a half (the start time wasn't on our leaflet). This was the perfect excuse for a walk down to the seafront and a slap up breakfast.
En route Jade (Abi's & Marc's Spaniel) was taken for a paddle.
After our munchies we headed back to the show ground and put up our flag and banner. As the grounds are right on the estuary we had plenty to watch as the tide was in and the kite surfers were out making the most of the good wind. There was a polish group getting ready right next to us, Abi and I did get the giggles when they stripped right down to their pants right in front of us before getting into their wetsuits.
We were joined by steve in his white XR3i who had come fresh from a shift at work
The show was small scale in comparison to a lot of the shows we attend but it had a wide variety of cars and a great friendly atmosphere. We wandered round taking pictures and even chatted to a few other owners, including a nice chap who had a white XR3i Cab.
We did a lot of sitting and chatting in the afternoon, just catching up and having a laugh. We also picked on Steve a bit and made sure we got photographic evidence of him cleaning his car, infact it almost seemed that a slight case of OCD was starting to set in as he treated his trims and even polished his exhaust!
Soon we were joined by Elvin who went for a wander round before joining us in our banter.
There was a small wagon selling sweets and hot food too. We all treated ourselves to a few sugary treats, sometimes its good to be a big kid.
The afternoon was soon over and the show came to a nice relaxed end, we packed up in what seemed to be a super quick time and headed for home.
All in all it was a great little show and well worth a visit.
