Having only found the details last minute a few of us made a quick mad dash to attend this show. Its been a few years since the branch had been to this one so we were determined to get it back on the calender, quite rightly so it turns out as the weather was glorious.
Steve (in his Cabbie) & I headed down a little later than planned thanks to his heavy night out. When we got there Nigel (from the Cornish RS Owners Club) got our tickets sorted quickly & found us a nice spot to park up (Thank you Nigel). We concentrated on giving the cars a quick once over while having a bit of a chat.
Steve decided it was a good time to put the gazebo up, when I pointed out it would be hard to do with just the two of us he turned round & reckoned he could put it up on his own so I made him shake on it & I stood back to watch.
Poor Steve actually did quite well, despite having me & a few of the mondeo boys behind us killing ourselves with laughter at his attempts.
During the gazebo incident one of our new members (Andrew) arrived with his Stunning red XR2. It was at that point we all took pity on Steve & got stuck in to help. It wasnt long before both the flag & banner were up too.
All in all this show was really relaxed, we chatted with a lot of people.
