For a lot of us Fiesta In The Park is the real start of show season and this year we were finally granted with sunshine too, after many weeks of nervously watching the weather reports.

Some serious time was spent polishing and buffing in the morning, making sure the cars had a perfect shine and once the bonnets were up you are soon reminded why you put so much effort in. Loz's XR2i had its unveiling of a new bling engine bay, although a quick trip to the AS stall was essential to get some last minute extra shiny bits.

New this year was a cake stall selling hand made cakes donated by members. Money raised is being donated to Weston Park Hospital (Sheffield) in memory of Lee Marriott who was a member of the Northern branch before he sadly passed away.
I must say that the cakes were absolutely scrummy & a lot of members were spotted going back for second helpings.

It is quite incredible how quickly a day goes by when you are having fun and catching up with friends (as well as making new ones).
It wasn't long before the concours had been judged and we were all gathered at the main gazebo awaiting the results. Congratulations to all the members who took home trophies, all were well deserved.
