Ford Fair 2007
Sunday the 5th of August was a scorcher.... blue sky & sunshine in abundance along with suncream and cold drinks.

The biggest show of the year kicked off with a fantastic turn out & an excellent layout (Thanks to Sarah & Keith of the Northern branch.. the hard work paid off).
Most of us had put the time in washing & polishing our pride & joys on saturday which meant a quick once over was all that was needed once parked up.
After catching up with everyone we hit the trade stands with one thing in mind..... lightening our wallets.

As the sun got hotter & our faces got redder we spread out.... some of us taking time to watch the track action while others meandered through the club stands or took in the 0-60 sprints (if not joining in)

A few of us met up at lunch time and had a full on picnic... sandwiches cake, crisps... Kerry & Chris even shared their BBQ. We all happily roasted under the midday sun as we munched on our goodies (although it is hard to munch melted chocolate).

After the get together and good old chin wag we all split up & headed back into the fray. More shopping & photo sessions ensued as we made the most of the remainder of the day.

Last of all thanks to David for coming to find us... was great to meet you & I hope to see you soon (maybe at the next show).

I think we left at the end of the day... tired, burnt but extremely happy. It was great to catch up with old friends and have a damn good laugh... and making new friends too. Ford Fair has been a complete success and I cant wait for the next one.... I'm planning for it already.
Kerry & Chris finding out that to make BBQ work you need matches.... or a lighter that works.... or two vauxhall owners to rub together.
Steve attempting to get his lil' white legs out.... No jokes needed here.

Jaffa seems to have found the only bit of shade in the whole show....

Kerry demonstrates a few moves from the all new XROC fitness video

Chris getting his chest out.... depite the cries of mercy from the rest of us

Ann Marie is a firm believer in health foods... but I dont think washing in orange juice actually has any benefits

Lauras XR2i showing off in the sun... very polished & very shiny. Some of us had a rather early start... XRs at dawn.
Steve drove quite a long way before this picture was taken, meeting up with Donna & Russ for the rest of the trip.

Burnt offerings anyone???

Ahh yes, good old BBQ grub.... who could resist.... actually quite a few of us.

HIT & RUN!!!

Yes thats right.. this vehicle was caught in the act as it viciously mowed down an innocent cola bottle.

The police have been notified... they have released a statement saying that "we do not condone vigilantes but if there's less coke hitting the streets then we may be more leanient"Polished to perfection. Brians 3i looking very Bufty.
