XRs gettting together in the dark, cold and rainThe now legendary "Smartie Car"
I was another good branch meet with a great turnout. Thank you to all of you who made it regardless of the dreadful weather and I'm glad you all got home safely afterwards.

Although it was dark and raining... a lot we manged to get a look at Brians new 4i in the flesh and it really is gorgeous. It really was great watching his eyes light up when the discussion of rear wheel drive started up.
We also got to meet Rob from Barnstaple with his 3i who has joined our ranks for the next year.

We werent expecting a certain member to turn up due to the failure of his ignition module in his 3i but he arrived in style in a car lent to him by a friend. The "Smartie Car" is a must see and even in the poor light I managed to get a photo of the spotted wonder. Oh, and just in case you are wondering... every single spot is a hand applied vinyl, and the octopus on the bonnet too.

Again it was a night with very little business but a lot of chatting and laughs. We did however come to an agreement on the first Christmas Party this branch will have seen in many years. It's definately gonna be a good one and a well deserved chance to unwind.
