South West Motor Show 2007
Good luck was certainly bestowed on us for this show as the skies cleared for the whole time the gates were open.... as soon as we were leaving it started to rain again. Talk about jammy.

Unforunately we had a few victims of the weather further up country & a lot of the XR4 Reg were unable to attend due to flooding (or the usual car misbehaving trick). All in all attendance was good and the stand looked brilliant (Thanks to Jaffas keen eye and car park attendant skills). We had loads of visitors and various people came to talk shop with us.... or just take the mick out of me for some reason but I'm getting used to that now.

We had the two old school fiestas join us and they seemed to be stealing the limelight somewhat but hey... they do look good and certainly deserve it. I have seen photos appearing on various websites of these two so they have proved vastly popular.

As for hiccups, there were few.... although running to get some adhesive to reattach one of Jaffas shiny bits was amusing... no glue, no bonnet up. Just glad some was found in time. Phew!! After a quick sticking session & buff up all was well again.

The day went by so fast & we all had a good day. The cars were all gleaming & the smell of polish was in the air.
Some of us got there stupidly early to set up while others arrived at a more civil time... but paid the price in queuing
Jaffa helps out setting up the stand but starts getting a little tied up
A few of the guys took the opportunity to wind down & relax...
others took it as a chance to recover after a good night out
Brian showing us his best male model catalogue pose.
Bob putting up a good show for the XR4 register
I cant work out if Donna & Russ were taking it easy in the shade... or hiding from somebody
Jaffa is showing us a new use for polish applicator pads... dont think the girls will buy it though
Russ left Donna still sat on the grass as he opts for the comfort & luxury of the Sierras boot
