South West Motor Show 2008
This show goes from strength to strength for our branch so this year we decided to adopt it as our regional day & finally bring the branch trophies out of retirement.
The stand was put together in relatively quick time and didnt seem to take too much effort as we all mucked in to get it just right leaving us all time to get the polish out for the final touches. We werent in the first enclosure this year but we had a prime position right next to the enterance of the second. This gave us an opportunity to use a different stand layout, creating our own little enclosure to walk round. With Jaffa at the reigns the cars were positioned to maximise our space & spread the different models out.

The weather wasnt kind to us all day with periods of rain driving us under the gazebo for shelter but it was just a good excuse to have a natter & a bit of a giggle. It also drove a few of us to seek a little warmth in a cup of tea.
Once the sun came out again though the jackets came off & we all ventured out to have a good look round.

Thank you to all the club members who attended this show as it turned out to be one of our best, winning Car Club Stand 2008.
Its great to see so many of the branch members getting involved & two good mates from the South west branch too.... Donna & Russ are always a good laugh when ever they join us.
Sorry to the Welsh members who couldnt make it but you can always join us another time, we'll be looking forward to it.
