Weston Super Mare
RNLI Festival Of Transport 2009
What an absolutely glorious day. We headed up to Weston Super Mare in a small convoy and were soon parked up on the lawns at the sea front.
I hadn't been able to clean the 2i on Saturday so set to it straight away, meanwhile Brian & Co went for a wander round.

I spent much longer cleaning then I planned but the weather was so good I decided to go the whole hog. I did get quite a few people stop to chat to me and ask what the heck I was doing (after seeing me hand apply my Dodo Juice wax).
Steve came back to join me just as I was finishing off with drink in hand... you have know idea how grateful I was for that!!!

It wasn't long before we were wandering around the cars on show. The variety was quite spectacular, definitely something for all tastes. It was a busy but relaxed event. After our look around Steve and I headed to the beach where a game of frisbee was being played while Shelbie was playing in the sea.
Brian and Martin proudly showed off their sand castle before we headed towards the donkeys, we are all much to big for a ride apart from Shelbie so we all watched as she went off on a donkey called Monty.
Bri kept us entertained trying on hats at the shop on the beach before we headed back to the cars with ice creams in hand.... well apart from Steve and I who were desperately trying to find some chips. In the end Steve was sent on a mission to get some.

With such nice weather and so much to do the day was over before we knew it and it wasn't long before everything was being packed away and we were heading for home.
This is definitely a show to watch out for next year, it comes highly recommended.
