Wheels of Wadebridge 2009
Another show and another wet weekend, but it didn't stop us and having a good day.
The journey there was plain sailing and we arrived in good time.
Soon we were all there with the stand assembled, all too soon it became clear that the flags couldn't stay up though, the wind was howling down the field and it was only a matter of time before they snapped. With the more streamlined stand we were finally able to go have a wander round. Brian and Martin disappeared into the fray and were not seen again until the end of the day. The rest of us wandered between the stands and displays, getting good experience in hiding from rain showers and sheltering from the gusts of wind.
There were two events being held at the showground so we decided to check out what was going on. I think we were all glad we did, there was even more to look at but most of all was a stand selling off various automotive branded goodies with proceeds going to charity. The prices were amazing and nearly all of us came away with goodies.
We also managed to convince Steve it was a good idea to give the F1 driving simulator a go, he took some persuading but went for it.
Brian joined our ranks again as the day was coming to a close brandishing a rather dubious lollypop and a pack of cheese.
We packed up swiftly as the sun final came out... typical!!!
